What does eyelash tinting do?
Eyelash Tinting is a process to temporarily change your eyelash colour. It’s used to create an appearance of mascara without having to reapply mascara daily. This process uses a natural plant-based stain or dye which will stick to your lashes for weeks.
What is a lash lift?
It’s a perming of the lashes. This lifts and curls the lashes. It looks very natural, sometimes paired with tinting, it defines the look of the lashes, makes them seem longer, and gives the eyes a larger and more elegant look.

The Process
Step 1: Consultation
This is where we decide the right product for you. Ask if you have any conditions and precautionary questions.
Step 2: Relax
You will lay comfortably on a facial bed with your eyes closed.
Step 3: Cleansing
The lashes and area around the eyes are cleaned from any makeup and oils.
Step 4: Protection
A gel patch is applied underneath the eye to hold your bottom lashes down.
Step 5: Coverage
A silicon pad is applied to the upper eyelids to hold the eyelids in place
Step 6: Align
Begin to comb the lashes from the bottom up to align them in the right direction
Step 7: Application
Apply the perming solution. The solution is to curl your lashes, once that is done we wait for a period of time
Step 8: Remove & Apply
We then remove the solution from the eyelashes and apply the setting solution.
Step 9: Remove
Again we wait and then remove the solution.
Step 10: Lash Tint
The lash tint is applied, we apply the colour that was chosen for you in the beginning.
Step 11: Brush
Then we remove the tint and comb your lashes straight from the bottom. We then take off the silicone pad and the gel patch
Step 12: Show off
Time to show off your beautiful lashes. #Instagram or prepare for your night out.
Things to Note
Before the procedure:
- Do not use Henna for 8 weeks prior to the procedure.
- Do not Tint your lashes 3 weeks prior to the procedure.
- Do not use Mascara before the procedure.
- Avoid waterproof mascara for up to 3 days before your appointment as it leaves a residue,
Extensions After Care:
- Do not use Henna for 8 weeks after the procedure.
- Do not tint or wet your lashes for at least 24 hours
- Avoid water, cleansing products and makeup for 24 hours after the treatment
- Do not use an eyelash curler for the first 24 hours, as it may damage your lashes
- Avoid rubbing lashes or applying force to your lashes.
- Use mild cleansing products on your face
- Avoid getting your lashes wet; do not go swimming and be very careful in the shower for the first 24 hours.
- Avoid heat, including direct sunlight and UV lights, for 48 hours after the treatment for best results.

Is an eyelash lift and tinting worth it?
It’s definitely worth it if you are someone who wants to magnify the beauty of your natural lashes for a long period of time.
How long does an eyelash lift and tint last for?
Your lashes will begin to fall to their natural state and colour after 6-8 weeks depending on your daily conditions and activity as well as the growth cycle of lashes. This is a more specific person to person.
Is a lash lift and tint bad for your eyelashes?
Our process is 100% safe, if you have skin sensitivity or allergies please let us know before the procedure. As well as when the last time you got it.
How often can you get a lash lift?
A lash lift can last up to 6-8 weeks and can begin to come back to its natural state. You can repeat a lash lift after a minimum of one month if needed.
How often can you tint eyelashes?
We recommend waiting at least 3-4 weeks before getting your lashes tinted again.
Eyelash Tinting vs Extensions
Eyelash tinting is like a semi-permanent dye job that it is safe to use around the eyes and you have it applied to your natural lashes. It’s a less dramatic change because it won’t curl, add length or volume.
However, the change is more noticeable if you have lighter lashes if you have darker lashes they will make them darker. If you are someone who doesn’t feel comfortable without your mascara, tinting will make it less noticeable. This is more for someone who wants to give more definition to their natural lashes or make lighter coloured lashes bolder and more noticeable.
Extensions require added synthetic lashes to your natural lashes to create length, fullness, and volume. This is also a much more noticeable change to your eyes and face. If you want to do away with mascara altogether this would be your replacement.
